Not only does GNY offer competitive salaries for its positions, it also offers current employees an attractive benefits package that includes generous health and dental plans, life insurance, pension plan, 401(k) plan, which historically includes a company match, tuition reimbursement program, paid vacation time, and more.

GNY offers its employees a choice of several different medical insurance plans from some of the most respected providers in the business. All of these plans provide a comprehensive array of coverages and low deductibles.
Additional family members can also be added to the health plan and the costs for that coverage will be deducted from the employee's pay. In addition to a robust medical insurance plan, GNY also offers its employees a supplemental PPO dental plan. It also pays for 100% of this plan's premiums for its employees, once eligibility requirements have been met. After 90 days of disability, GNY's long-term disability plan will provide 60% of an employee's salary (up to the monthly plan maximum). As long as the disability persists, this benefit may be paid up until age 65. Employees may also access statutory short-term disability benefits through the New York State Disability program. GNY offers it employees paid-time off, depending on their years of service.
GNY pays for a life insurance benefit for its employees equal to one to three times salary, depending on service, up to the maximum of $600,000. GNY offers it employees both a defined benefit (pension) plan as well as a defined contribution plan.
Pension Plan/Profit Sharing
401(k) To help defray the costs of transportation and parking, the company gives employees the option to put money aside on a pre-tax basis for these types of expenses, up to the maximum of $115 per month. The company will reimburse employees for all approved business-related courses. Employees pursuing their CPCU designation may also qualify for a bonus after completing each course. |
