Not only does GNY offer competitive salaries for its positions, it also offers current employees an attractive benefits package that includes generous health and dental plans, life insurance, pension plan, 401(k) plan, which historically includes a company match, tuition reimbursement program, paid vacation time, and more.

After three months of employment, GNY offers its employees a health plan, which GNY pays the majority of the cost.
In addition to a robust medical insurance plan, GNY also offers its employees a supplemental PPO dental plan after three months of employment. GNY pays a large percentage of the total cost for this benefit. After three months of employment, GNY provides a company paid Long Term Disability benefit. After 90 days of disability, GNY's long-term disability plan will provide 60% of an employee's salary (up to the monthly plan maximum). As long as the disability persists, this benefit may be paid up until age 65. Employees may also access statutory short-term disability benefits through the New York State Disability program. GNY offers it employees paid-time off, depending on their years of service.
GNY pays 100% of the cost for group term life insurance for its employees after three months of employment. The benefit is equal to 1.5, 2 or 3 times salary, depending on service, up to a maximum of $500,000. GNY offers it employees both a defined benefit (pension) plan as well as a defined contribution plan.
Pension Plan
401(k) To help defray the costs of transportation and parking, the company gives employees the option to put money aside on a pre-tax basis for these types of expenses after three months of employment. The company will reimburse employees for all approved business-related courses. Employees pursuing their CPCU designation may also qualify for a bonus after completing each course.
